Stop Surviving December: Why You Weren't Meant to Carry the Holidays Alone
December in Florida City brings a peculiar kind of weight. Between the events, the expectations, and the internal pressure to end the year "on top," it’s easy to move from celebrating life to simply surviving it.
If you’re reading this and you feel exhausted, burdened, or a little "beat down" by your current circumstances, here is the first thing you need to hear: You weren’t meant to carry this season by yourself. Whether you are a long-time resident or looking for Our Locations near you for the first time, you don't have to walk this path solo.

The Burden of the "Perfect" Holiday
We often think that if we just work a little harder, the stress will vanish. But true peace doesn't come from a cleared to-do list; it comes from a shifted perspective. At Full Deliverance Baptist Church, we believe our Mission and Vision are centered on helping you move from mere survival to living with purpose.
The biggest obstacle in December is the lie that says you have to be the source of your own strength. It’s hard to stay focused on what matters when your schedule is packed. That’s why we emphasize the power of community through Our Ministries—providing spaces where you can lay your burdens down.

Why "Little Becomes Much" Changes the Math
You might feel like you have very little left to give right now—little joy, little energy, or a tiny budget. But we believe that little becomes much when you place it in the Master’s hand.
When you stop trying to "power through" and instead bring your "little" to God, the math changes. You don't have to be perfect to experience a miracle; you just have to be willing to connect. This can happen in a deep Bible Study, a classroom at our Holy Bible College, or simply by stepping into one of our Sunday Worship Services.
Three Steps to Pivot Today
If the first week of December has already left you drained, it’s time for a pivot.
1. Release the Requirement for Perfection: You don't have to "play church." Real change happens in the lives of Testimonials and everyday people who’ve seen God do the impossible.
2. Focus on the Next Generation: If the holidays are stressing your family, look into our Youth Ministry or Children's Ministry centers where your kids can find a fun, faith-filled environment.
3. Find Your Sunday Anchor: Don't just watch from the sidelines. Plan your visit to join us in person. If you can’t make it to Florida City, tune in to Our Live Church Services to feel the presence of God from your home.
